Maria Björnberg

Hello! I’m an architect & curator, yet an human being who wants to design and co-create welcoming futures. I’ve started the company Curatopia, to enable collaborations and projects.

I’ve studied Architecture & Planning at Chalmers University, and been living in the UK and Spain, as well as Sweden, where I grew up and now am living.

In 2022 I co-curated the outdoor exhibition ‘Stories of Linnarhult’ in Gothenburg, Sweden, as a part of Exhibition design, place-making and method development.

I’ve 2024 been engaged in the research project ‘Transforming the city for play’ thorugh their method development tour.

(Part time I’m working at Ale municipality, employed there and not as Curatopia, as a planning architect, at the moment with a special focus on citizen dialogue in urban planning.)
